All of the music on this website was made using SUNO AI Studio. I am being upfront and honest from the start. 

Now, let's get one thing clear here. A lot of the music you are hearing from “Major” artists are already using this program, but “not” admitting it. I'm a nobody, and I have nothing to lose from the Music Industry whom regulate how music is made and distributed and royalties paid out to a select club of “their” choosing. 

For those of you who don't know how SUNO AI really works, let me give you a little idea of what it can do. 

Apparently just by using “word prompts” such as “create Country Rock song with raw emotions”, this music software program, will churn out a Top Ten Nashville Hit in a matter of minutes with lyrics too. Yes, it that easy. 

You don't need any musical talent or knowledge to do this. Just a subscription to their service. Obviously, this is bad news for those of us who are “real” song writers. Hence the uproar. The Napster debacle has already decimated the ranks of artists and song writers who used to be abled to make at least a living making music,  when the public decided that Music should now be free. 

So, if you bought into that mindset then you also share the blame for the current state of the Music scene. That's now dominated by Streaming Services that pay .00003 cents per stream play. It's an unsustainable market for the “content” providers AKA. Musicians, to get enough plays to even make the same money as an employee of a fast food chain. Do you get it? 

Now, with that background. Let's proceed on to how and why, I used SUNO AI Studio to make the music on this website.

First off, I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran. I unfortunately, through my injuries, and many illnesses and related conditions, have lost my hard earned years of mastery of two important instruments, my voice and my hands. Gone forever. Done. Bummer. For me life was over. And so was any chance of having a successful industry approved career. 

I spent 47 years of my life banging about bars, clubs, side stages, opening for major artists, writing songs, producing albums, concerts, in the USA, and later in Europe. And I invested all of my own money in recording, equipment, and all the tools I needed as a craftsman of this trade. And for those who don't know, that shit is expensive! And what did I get out of it? Nothing. Except a good reputation, and divorced a few times. No regrets.

Now, I'm old (pushing 65 years) and I have this massive catalogue of unreleased songs and demo's sitting on my hard drives. Staring and laughing at me every time I use my computer. Sure, Nashville publishers wanted my catalogue for virtually free (It's a shell game) they play to feast on the young, but I'm too old and wisened to play that game anymore. So, no can do. I know a lot of this material is commercially strong and has the potential to land on the billboard charts. And so do they. So.. we're in a stand off. And I won't give in.

Enter SUNO AI Studio. I of course cannot afford to go to a big professional studio and hire the best professional studio musicians to record my songs. I live on a small VA disability pension, that barely sustains me and my wife & two dogs. So, that will never happen. But with SUNO AI Studio, I found out that I can. I use the software as my Band. 

I work the console (as a producer would) to get the sounds, styles, feel, tempos, that I want. The musicians are told what to play by uploading my original compositions (Demo's) to guide them. This works just like any real life recording session does, except without the expense, and the reticence of some of the session players not willing to follow the producers direction. And the Ego wars that then ensue, when questioned. Truly this is a win win, for the average but experienced Joe, whom can't afford to, but desperately wants to hear his/her music recorded as professionally as possible, and mixed too.

I used no prompts whatsoever in creating this music. My original demos can stand side by side with each of these released tracks. That is the only “standard” I set for myself when I decided to use this software. I wanted the songs to be as Authentic as possible, and that includes the sounds as well. Did I achieve that? Hell Yes! And much more. That is because the players are modeled on the “best” musicians in the world. 

This is what scares the shit out of musicians. Especially the established cats who rule the industry and take the majority of crumbs still offered by the Music Titans. This program levels the field. And allows total Unknowns to compete with them at their level. And the definition of “level” is money. It takes big money to make those records you hear. And those people demand big money for doing them. Now? The pink slip is coming their way and those good times are most likely over for good. 

Now, any independent artist: can create, distribute, and release Major label quality recordings without - A Major Label. And they can do so for a pittance, of what they charge for “their” services. The only thing left that still costs an arm and a leg is Marketing and Promotion of the Recordings. So that field is the last handicap for Indie Artists. Which takes us here, to this website. 

I'm no expert on Promotion or Marketing. One of my ex-wives had her degree and occupation in this field and I was not impressed by what I saw. Everything is a con game. Sale promotion is no different. I don't do it. The music has to “speak” for itself and like any “product” it must have “value” to the customer. I tried my very best, and against all odds,  to give to you the listener the “best” product that I can possibly make. If you like it and want to buy it, then I've succeeded in my craft. The End.
